About Us

SKK Mission, Vision and Info

• SKK Mission is to foster Kannada Language, Arts & Culture in Minnesota community at large, by organizing and participating through several social events. 

• SKK Vision is to create a thriving Kannada community in Minnesota, where the Kannada language, traditions, and values are cherished and passed down through generations, promoting diversity, understanding, and cultural enrichment of Karnataka.

• SKK organizes events to celebrate major Kannada festivals such as Sankranthi, Ugadi, Ganesha Chathurthi, Kannada Rajyotsava and Deepavali in addition to yearly picnic, sports tournament like cricket & pickleball and charitable trust fund raising events. It is a non-profit organization primarily run by memberships and donations from interested people. 

• This organization is a non-partisan, secular and non-political volunteer organization.
