About Us

SKK Mission, Vision and Info

• SKK Mission is to foster Kannada Language, Arts & Culture in Minnesota community at large, by organizing and participating through several social events. 

• SKK Vision is to create a thriving Kannada community in Minnesota, where the Kannada language, traditions, and values are cherished and passed down through generations, promoting diversity, understanding, and cultural enrichment of Karnataka.

• SKK organizes events to celebrate major Kannada festivals such as Sankranthi, Ugadi, Ganesha Chathurthi, Kannada Rajyotsava and Deepavali in addition to yearly picnic, and charitable trust fund raising events. It is a non-profit organization primarily run by memberships and donations from interested people. 

• This organization is a non-partisan, secular and non-political volunteer organization.
