SKK `Ganesha Habba - 2008' celebrations are scheduled for Saturday, Sep 13, 2008 at the Hindu Mandir of Minnesota. Our SKK events were well known for a wide variety of good food. Due to regulatory health compliance requirements we are not allowed to bring in our own cooked food any more. Since we can't bring our own food, we are planning to have it catered by a licensed caterer. Hence, to cover the cost of this expense we may have to request you all for a nominal contribution.

To make adequate food arrangements, we would like to have a better estimate of the total number of people attending the event. Hence an evite will follow this email. If you plan to attend the event, please respond to the evite before Sep 05, 2008.

As always we would like to have a variety of cultural programs and hence encourage you all to think of an activity and send it to us before 25th of August, 2008. Activities can include singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, stand up comedy, etc. Due to time limitations, we can accommodate a maximum of 10 performances. Please respond at your earliest since the slots will be allocated on a first-come-first- serve basis.
